Boys’ School Head Boy Sebe Poole, was presented the BLAKE Young Leader Award for his leadership and commitment to being of service to others.
The BLAKE Young Leader Award recognises young New Zealanders, Years 5-8, who have shown commitment to leading positive change in their community that leads to a sustainable future for Aotearoa. The award is presented every year to students all around the country.
Sebe’s upholds the Saint Kentigern Values with the utmost integrity and has made the most of opportunities over the years with many successes both on the sports field and in the classroom. Sebe leads by example and appears to be unfazed when given tasks to undertake in short time frames. During the lockdown, Sebe looked at different opportunities to connect with the other parts of the school – true servant leadership and his contribution is evident across all facets of school life.
Well done, Sebe.
