Boys’ School Golf Day

On a balmy summer’s day, bathed in sunshine, a group of close to 50 players gathered at the Windross Farm Golf Club in Ardmore for the annual Boys’ School Golf Day.

The golfers, all members of our Saint Kentigern Community including former students, enjoyed a day of laughter and camaraderie as they vied for top honours in the Ambrose style tournament. Following the play, the teams retired to the clubhouse for well-earned refreshments and prize giving.

The winning team and recipients of the Mungo Cap were Team Halliday. The Longest Drive (Ladies) went to Tracey Bishop, the Longest Drive (Men) was Hayden Butler and the Closest to the Pin was Sudhir Lala. The Ron Stone Memorial Trophy, which acknowledges a School Old Boy displaying the true spirit of sportsmanship, was awarded to Michael Gowan. After much laughter and storytelling, the infamous Bloopers Jacket was awarded to Simon Rowntree.

Thank you to all involved for supporting our Boys’ School event. It was a really enjoyable and successful day and we hope to see you all back on the Course next year! Special thanks to our sponsors and prize donors for your generosity and ongoing support – your contribution is truly appreciated.
